Day 6 Lent Devotion “So shall My Word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the stars by the breath of His mouth.” Psalm 33:6 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 “By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.” Hebrews 11:3 “God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?” Numbers 23:19 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 “But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4 “I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love, will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and depth and heighth of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”Matthew 24:35 No other words are needed.
