Day 7 Lent Devotion “‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.” Zecharaiah 1:3b “For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.” 2 Chronicles 30:9b “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.” Isaiah 43:25 “Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea”. Michah 7:18-19 “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:7 “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” Luke 15:7 “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 “And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23: 42-43 It is never too late. You are not forsaken. Jesus stands with open arms, as the father to his prodigal, not only to receive, but to welcome you back as His very own with pure joy. His cross, your debt paid. Lord, our sins a mountain so high we cannot imagine them disappearing. Seared in our minds. How can You possibly forget them? But we do humble ourselves before You. We repent and sorrowfully ask for Your forgiveness. Bring us back to You. In Jesus name Amen. I Come Broken – Travis Cottrell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrNfaqZa8PI Tweet
