Day 9 Lent Devotion “There is a river whose streams delight the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.” I would encourage you today to read all of Psalm 46 today. Know Who Your God is. There is no peace known that comes close to the peace of being in His presence. “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1 There is a steady feed into our eyes, ears and minds of words and images meant to stir fear. “I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!” John 16:33 “One thing I have asked of the LORD; this is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple.” Psalm 27:4 Psalm 22:3 “Yet You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.” I love this picture of God’s presence in the cloud of praise of His people. Today’s song came to me yesterday as I was driving. It really touched my heart about 33 years ago and moved me to tears and I had no idea why at the time.
