Fall Vignettes are gorgeous. I just can’t get enough of them. If you joined me for the Festive Fall Home Tours, you saw many of my Fall decorations but I did mention that I didn’t cover it all. And even this Showcase doesn’t finish it up. I love to decorate for the holidays.
So come in once again and enjoy the beauty of the season. I hope you are inspired as you decorate your home!
Just a peak at our bedroom mantle at the Lake, a candle, a garland and one of my favorite pumpkins…Harvest Blessings!
Our Dining Room Table setting is my Favorite Traditional Look for Fall. It just sparkles and glows!
You know how I love chargers and this is another awesome one I found at …you guessed it my favorite dish and table setting store Pier 1 Imports. The wood charger is rubbed in gold. The plate is not a typical Fall plate but has plum in it. The natural muslin napkin trimmed in gold beading and the shiny gold pumpkin just adds the finishing touch.
At the Lake House we like to have lots of little seating areas set up since we often have groups of people staying with us and they break up into little groups and visit. This is one that is between the kitchen and the family room and right by the door to the deck. It is set up for a couple of glasses of red Table Rock Wine and good conversation.
It’s all in the details. The Fall Ice Bucket, the local red wine, the copper goblets and the sliced wood coasters…and of course a tiny pumpkin just seals the deal!
I love wreaths and floral designs. I love wreaths so much that I have to find other ways to use them or places to put them than just my front door. So hanging wreaths over mirrors is one way I use more of them. At the Lake House I have this one. I used a lot of white and green in my family room Fall Decor. Love the wooden sign, the candle smells and looks wonderful. This is just a great focal spot in the family room.
This is a Rustic yet Sparkly Wreath. I love all of the textures and natural elements but also that fact that they added some sparkle which is hard to see in the photograph.
Just the cutest Fall Floral. I could not resist it!
Table runners add color and can be used for more than the dining room. I used this in a diagonal across my coffee table providing some holiday color and messages as well as a base to ground some of the other Fall Decor.
A close up of that Fall Floral of Pears and Squash. This one came from one of my favorite boutiques in Town and Country, MO. I love every bit of it!
I keep this glass and bronze bowl filled with the greens that you see mixed in here and then at holidays I simply add some potpourri that comes with decor. This one had leaves and acorns and pinecones and pumpkins. Don’t you love it?
This is a photo from another post 7 Layers to a Fantastic Tablescape. I love the burnt orange, copper and gray blue colors. The mixed wood candlesticks and the acorns as a centerpiece, the fluffy napkins and the floral rings…this is my favorite unique and fun tablescape.
So you needed a close up so you could see how absolutely adorable this plate is. Nothing cuter than that!
When I first married, I was so excited for the first holiday to come along so I could decorate my own home. I truly could not wait. Back then the most people did for Halloween was put up cardboard punch outs on the windows and a carved pumpkin on the porch. I taped those little cutouts up in my upstairs flat windows…I mean no one could even see them up there, but I didn’t care it was one of the most meaningful things that made me feel like I had my own family as we set out to make a home for ourselves.
So I leave you with my Fall Garden Flag that cheers my rock path to the front door and reminds me to feed the birds.
I hope you enjoyed it!

Your lake home is stunning too. How do you do it Debbie, everything is so beautiful. Is the Fall plate with the puppies on the bench old? The pairing of chairs with the bottle wine, is that an invite? It sure is appealing. Beautiful work
Leanne, if you need to escape to the Lake, just let me know. The plate is still available at Pier 1!
Debbie, everything always looks so beautiful in your home! Love everything of it.
Thank you Marjan. I love making our surroundings special.
