Every time I lay my eyes on a newly built or newly renovated Modern Farmhouse, I want to go inside. The simplicity of the white exterior usually in board and batten along with the dramatic contrast of the dark windows, awnings and doors.

I adore this style home. The Modern Farmhouse has a style all of its own.

There is an interesting story as to how my friend acquired the plans for this home! She saw it and fell in love and later reached out to the owners to ask if she could find out where their plans were from because she knew without a doubt this was the home she wanted to build.
